On Oct. 6, the latest members of Canada’s Sports activities Corridor of Fame acquired the Order of Sport Award. The 66th annual ceremony, introduced by Everest, welcomed the category of 2022 to the Metro Toronto Conference Centre. The athletes inducted included professional soccer’s Dwayne De Rosario, Paralympic swimmer Tim McIsaac, lacrosse legend John Tavares, Olympic dash kayak champion Adam van Koeverden and hockey nice Hayley Wickenheiser. They have been joined by three “builders”: the late Arctic sports activities icon Edward Lennie, broadcaster Brian Williams and Tricia Smith, president of the Canadian Olympic Committee.
